Retail Development Returns to Oklahoma City

After a two year draught, retail development has returned to Oklahoma City. Regional director, Hunt Properties from Dallas, Texas, recently purchased a 10 acre site on the southwest corner of Northwest Expressway and May Avenue from Group 1 Auto based out of Houston, Texas. Robin O’Grady, Retail Specialist with NAI Sullivan Group was the broker on this $4,100,000 transaction.

Demolition began on the former Smicklas Chevrolet site earlier this week to make way for this new redevelopment project called May Crossing. The site plan includes 20,000 square feet of leasable inline multi-tenant space and 3 pad sites, two of which are under contract. Additionally, Hunt Properties sold 3.3 acres of the project to National Retailers for $3,300,000. National Retailers will build a 26,000 square foot facility for Dave and Busters.

May Crossing will be completed by the first quarter of 2012. For further information or leasing information contact Robin O’Grady at (405) 840-0600.
